IG Metall Calculator – Salary Calculator for the Metal and Electrical Industry
How does the IG Metall Salary Calculator work?
Our IG Metall calculator computes your annual gross salary based on the current collective bargaining agreements of the metal and electrical industry. Select your agreement, region and pay group – the calculator instantly shows your ERA base pay, performance allowance, holiday pay, Christmas bonus, T-ZUG A, T-ZUG B and transformation allowance, plus a monthly breakdown.
ERA Pay Groups explained
The ERA system (Entgelt-Rahmen-Abkommen) evaluates job tasks by requirements such as knowledge, problem-solving and scope of action. Depending on the region, there are pay groups from EG 1 to EG 12 (or EG 17 in some tariff areas) and apprenticeship pay. The classification determines your base pay.
Current Wage Tables
The IG Metall wage tables show ERA compensation for all 15 tariff areas – from Baden-Württemberg through Bavaria, NRW and Lower Saxony to Thuringia. This helps you quickly find the right wage table for your federal state and pay group.
